15 IVECO Trakker trucks were delivered to Motorways – Black Sea. The off-road vehicles will be used for the rehabilitation of the “Hemus” highway between Varna and Shumen, as well as for the upcoming construction of the section between Shumen and Targovishte. The supplier of the trucks is iTrucks – part of the Euromarket family, an authorized IVECO representative since 2018 and an exclusive representative for the Trakker series.

“All purchased heavy vehicles have been in operation since the first day of the rehabilitation and we hope with their help to complete the work on time,” comments Ivan Penev, service manager at “Automagistrali – Cherno More”. “This is not the first time we have worked with IVECO and we are satisfied with the quality of their vehicles. We chose to work together again because of the larger cubic capacity of the basket, good service and financing conditions,” added Penev.

In addition to a large bucket volume – up to 20 m3, the new IVECO Trakker is distinguished by its high passability, the ability to work in all weather conditions and on all types of surfaces – from asphalted streets to severe off-road conditions. All models in the series are equipped with a Euro VI class engine, which reduces fuel consumption by up to 10%.

The company comments that construction is planned for 16.2 km of the highway, 6 viaducts, a bridge and 11 intersections with agricultural roads. The project is expected to be completed in 2020.
