As a legal entity that hires employees after the selection of candidates, iTRUCKS EAD (“we”, “us”, iTRUCKS EAD companies) is the controller of data that we process in connection with your participation in our procedures for selection and appointment of new employees. We ensure lawful, adequate and transparent processing of your personal data in accordance with the principles and rules of personal data protection. This Notice explains how we collect, use and transfer personal data of job applicants.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect the following information about you that you provide to us personally when you apply for a job at our Company:

  • Your biographical data – full name, date of birth, previous employment; CVs, job descriptions, references;
  • Contact information – address, phone number, e-mail;
  • Your identification – a photo, only if you have provided one;

For what reasons do we collect your personal data?

We process personal data that are required for the conclusion and execution of an employment contract. The provision of personal data by you as a reaction to a job advertisement published on our website or on an e-portal for job applicants is voluntary. We guarantee that your personal information will be processed according to the law and in compliance with your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms.

What do we use your personal data for?

We use the data collected about you to select job candidates and enter into employment contracts with the selected candidates.

Transfer of personal data in Bulgaria

The personal data collected from job applicants are not shared with third parties outside the structure of iTRUCKS EAD, except with third parties providing services under a contract with the Company – training services, IT support providers of hardware, hosting or the Company’s website.

Transfer of personal data outside Bulgaria

We do not transfer your personal data to other persons in another Member State or to a third country or to international organizations outside the European Union and the European Economic Area.

How long do we store your data?

The personal data provided by you will be processed within six (6) months following the completion of the selection process and the appointment of a candidate suitable for the relevant position, unless you have expressly agreed to the storage and processing of your data for a longer period, during which we can assess whether your application is suitable for another vacancy and for which we will make you an offer and invite you for an interview.

You are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time.

Upon withdrawal of the consent or upon its expiration, we will immediately erase your personal data.

What are your rights?

In connection with your personal data, you have the following rights:

  1. Right of access to personal data related to you – you can request more detailed information about how we use your data and a copy of the information about you that we store;
  2. The right to request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate personal data related to you;
  3. The right to request a restriction on the processing of personal data related to you – in cases where there is a complaint that is pending;
  4. The right to request the erasure of personal data relating to you (“right to be forgotten”);
  5. The right to receive personal data that you have provided to us and that are related to you in a commonly used, structured and machine-readable PDF format, and to use them again by a transfer to another controller (“right to data portability”);
  6. The right to file a complaint to the competent supervisory authority or to the court in case your rights are violated by illegal processing of your personal data (the supervisory authority for personal data protection in Bulgaria is the Commission for Personal Data Protection, address: 2 Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592).
